Keith Graves set to Open Benin Preparatory Sports Academy

Jul 15, 2020

Aplahoue, Jul 14, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Fiba Head coach Keith Graves will open a free youth academy in Benin next year, its latest move to helping student athletes outside of the united states.

The Benin academy will be based in Cotonou, Benin and the goal is to help kids get better and get free exposure and an opportunity at the pro level or states level.

Coach Keith aims to open the youth academy in August. "We are moving full force ahead and are really excited by the progress we've made and I will continue my duties in Hong Kong until further notice," Keith told the ASIA News.

The academy in Benin will focus on both youth and elite talent development, said Keith Graves and we will also give free training and lots of gear the kids. The goal is by year two to have several traveling youth teams and a National team that travels to the states twice a year. All coaches in the academy will have a USA Gold or International License and FIBA Certificate.

There are so many great student athletes overseas that just don't get any type of exposure and they give up.
