The new range of CBD-infused dog treats has been developed so American dog owners can actively take measures to improve the pet’s quality of life. Customers will find a variety of treats that are suitable for dogs of all shapes and sizes.

The drastic lifestyle changes brought on by the pandemic have disrupted the lives of millions of American workers and suddenly caused a drastic change in the daily routines of millions of pets. Stress in dogs is a non-trivial phenomenon. Research published by the University of Helsinki at the end of 2020 found that more than 70% of dogs display anxiety-like characteristics. In particular, it was found that younger dogs were especially susceptible to separation anxiety. This situation is exacerbated by thousands of workers returning to the offices after working from home, leaving their dogs alone for extended periods.

Okoa Pets provides American dog owners with relaxing dog treats that have been tailored and refined to contain the optimal CBD concentration. Extensive scientific research reveals that up to 5mg of CBD can calm an anxious dog. The “Hush, Puppy” dog treats come in a peanut butter flavor, making them indistinguishable from standard dog treats. The treats help a dog cope with common external stress sources, including thunderstorms, separation, travel, or changes to daily routines.

Okoa Pet is a pet care company located in Boulder, Colorado. The company is the brainchild of a team of experienced veterinarians who sought to bring a scientific approach to the creation of pet treats and supplements.

One of the company’s veterinarians said: “This company exists because of the love and affection that the team has for animals.”
