Meeraqi’s New Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore Proudly Risks Defying Convention

Meeraqi has defied convention in the film acting market with the release of its new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar. Further information can be found at https://meeraqi.com/film-acting-workshop-in-bangalore/.

Bangalore, India - January 12, 2018 /PressCable/ —

Earlier today, Meeraqi finally announced the beginning of its new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar, which has been in development since August 2017. The main aim is to help the attendees professionally in a big way by providing a list of genuine contact numbers/addresses of the casting directors in Mumbai… but it does so, with a difference.

Sudeep Bhattacharya, Director at Meeraqi, says: “We wanted to try something new with this Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar. Anyone familiar with the film acting market will probably have noticed how everyone else seems to teach the same old cliche methods of acting. This is a problem because it does not let acting be convincing.”

So as a welcome breath of fresh air, Meeraqi will instead teach them how not to act while acting in front of a camera. Meeraqi chose to make this move because actors these days either overplay or else underplay their roles and it is this that we want to change.

Sudeep Bhattacharya also said “We want to give our customers a real insight into the most natural way to act. With our new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar, they have a fresh new possibility. We want them to feel they are getting something that they never got in life before they joined this workshop. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”

Meeraqi has been in business for for quite a long time, getting established in 2017. Since Day 1 it has always aimed at setting up an artists’ collective and creative space, which offers both professional and aspiring artists an avenue to expand their skill set, and express themselves through their chosen discipline..

This isn’t the first time Meeraqi has defied convention either. In October 2017 they caused a stir when they did Converge Festival at Meeraqi inhouse.

The new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore At Meeraqi By Amit Tharwani & Raam Kumar is set to launch on 22nd January 2018 and end on 30th January 2018. To find out more about the workshop and Meeraqi, it’s best to visit https://meeraqi.com/film-acting-workshop-in-bangalore/.

Jan 23, 2018

BRUSSELS — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday urged European Union countries to recognize the state of Palestine and called on the 28-nation bloc to step up political efforts in the Middle East amid Arab disappointment with the U.S. role in the region. At talks with EU foreign ministers in Brussels, Abbas also recommitted to a negotiated solution to the conflict with Israel and to past peace agreements, days after suggesting that the historic Oslo Peace Accords were as good as dead. Calling the EU a true partner and friend, Abbas said the Europeans should "swiftly recognize the state of...

Serbian president visits Kosovo after politician's slaying

Jan 23, 2018

MITROVICA, Kosovo — Serbia's president on Saturday pledged to help build a lasting peace in Kosovo days after the killing this week of a moderate Kosovo Serb politician fueled fears of instability in the Balkans. Amid tight security, Aleksandar Vucic paid a visit to Kosovo that officials said was designed to ease concerns among Kosovo Serbs following the slaying Tuesday of one of their leading politicians, Oliver Ivanovic. Waving Serbian flags, hundreds of people cheered Vucic as he arrived in the Serb-dominated, northern part of the former Serbian province that declared independence in 2008. Serbia has refused to recognize the...

Italian who survived Auschwitz as a child given top honor

Jan 23, 2018

ROME — A Jewish woman who was one of the few Italian children to survive deportation to a Nazi death camp has been made a senator-for-life in Italy. President Sergio Mattarella's office said Friday that he chose Liliana Segre, 87, for the honor because she had made the nation proud with her commitment to telling schoolchildren about the Holocaust. Italy is marking 80 years since the country introduced Fascist-era racist laws discriminating against Jews. Segre and her family went into hiding after the 1938 law was introduced. They were arrested in 1943, and put onto trains departing from Milan toward...

High school students in Hungary rally for modern education

Jan 23, 2018

BUDAPEST, Hungary — Several thousand high school students in Hungary have held a rally outside the national parliament to demand improvements to their education system. Many students held up signs with Facebook's "angry" emojis, while others characterized Prime Minister Viktor Orban's regime as a dictatorship. With few exceptions, Orban has nationalized the school system and set tight controls on the publication of textbooks. Student Andras Bognar told the crowd that "the education system turns us into anguished and indecisive adults with unfounded ideas." The protesters also demanded greater flexibility in education opportunities instead of cookie-cutter learning.

Czech lawmakers lift immunity for PM Babis over fraud claims

Jan 23, 2018

PRAGUE — Czech lawmakers agreed Friday to lift the immunity from prosecution for Prime Minister Andrej Babis over alleged fraud involving European Union subsidies. The 111-69 vote in the lower house of parliament allows police to complete their investigation into Babis' possible involvement in the $2 million fraud. The case involves a farm that received an EU subsidy after its ownership was transferred from a conglomerate of some 250 companies that belonged to Babis to Babis' family members. The EU farm subsidy was meant for medium and small businesses and Agrofert would not have been eligible for it. Agrofert later...
